"Oh, no problem!" Jaunty is his tone as he makes his way across the cobblestone pathway towards a pair of teenage girls. Both were fans of his and had followed him on social media before his blowing up into stardom. Romeo couldn't take all the credit for his success, for without his fans, and those cheering him on from the wings; he would be nothing. So, whenever he was asked to take pictures, he obliged without question. "Haha, these are cute... you made them? Very nice. Can I have a pair?" He speaks about a headband fashioned with white cat ear attachments. With a giddy nod, the girl hands over a pair, and Romeo immediately situates the accessory atop his head; just in front of his man bun. "Okay, now, I'm ready." He gets in position and poses as the shutter sounds to their cell phones.

Something simple, but he makes sure it's personal and catered to the girls. "You're welcome! You don't have to thank—" but alas, they won't hear of it. One of the girls plucks from her pocket a small ticket, placing it in Romeo's palm before darting off to catch up with their group of friends. "Huh, wonder what this is?" Peering down at the slip, his auburn hues skim the words printed, and a toothy grin curls at his visage. A voucher for the winter festivities in Lilycove. So long as he showed it, he could participate in the activities for a discounted price and possibly even free... if he had a plus one.

Okay, no big deal. He would simply need to find someone to accompany him for the day. That shouldn't be too hard... right? "Hmm..." his head cranes about, searching for the perfect candidate among the passersby of the street. Alas, a majority of them seem to already be with another. And the voucher distinctly states plus one, not plus two or three. The heel of his leather boots clicks against cobblestone while he ponders. What is he to d—aha! "Excuse me!" He calls forth to a stranger of blond hair, closing the distance between the two. Still donning the cat-eared headband from before, "sorry to bother you, but, I'm in a bit of a bind. Do you have a moment to assist?"

Izzy doesn't hate people. Not really. Is he uncomfortable around them, and do large crowds make him sweat? Yes and yes. Would he rather be alone and curled up at home with nobody else around to bug him? In honesty, no. But it's hard - when a childhood has been spent in solidarity - to learn how exactly socialisation works. Izzy never had groups of friends, never had awkward first kisses staying out too late with the person he liked, never really did much of anything besides stupid petty crimes and keeping Myszko out of trouble.[break][break]

So, eh... not too much differed nowadays, then. It didn't help matters that Izzy gave off the whole don't talk to me bark snarl bark vibe - people generally didn't approach him for that.[break][break]

Taking that into account, then, why did this stranger so exquisitely dressed make a beeline for him in particular? This guy with his star-shining eyes, and that long, long hair tucked up into a handsome bun. Izzy runs a hand through his own shoddily bleached mop in quiet self-consciousness.[break][break]

"Wh... sure, erm, what's up? I'm probably not very helpful" Unless this guy needed his car fixed or his own demonic Salandit wrangled, Izzy wasn't sure he could be of assistance. "...but, uh, I can... try?"[break][break]

He pauses and can't help but glance up, let his eyes linger for a moment and then furrow his brow.[break][break]

...Was this guy wearing cat ears?

Aha, Perfect! The stranger was willing to assist. "Hey now, don't think so low of yourself." Romeo takes a step back to wag his finger, "I picked you because I knew you were perfect for the jo—" just then, a pokemon of winter cheers waddles its way over with a sack in tow. A delibird of the street it seemed. "Oh, why hello there." Romeo turns to the pokemon and gives it a wave and grin. Only for the bird to reach back and present the pair a gift before going about its merry way. "Oho, what a sweet delibird. It seems I'm getting lucky with every step I take here." Let's pray the good fortune continued.

But yes, back to the matter at hand. Romeo returns his attention to the blond stranger and places a hand against his chest before spilling the beans on his request. "I've been given this voucher for a day of winter festivities. And it says here, that I require a plus one to use it in full." The same hand that rested against his chest now extends forward, pointing to the stranger. "You, are my plus one." Tilting his head, he gives the man a toothy grin of joy and splendor. "See? Easy task. You have to do nothing more than enjoy the day with me."

Oh wait, where were his manners. "Ah, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself." Again, the hand switches now from a point to an open invitation to a handshake. "Romeo Iscariot, a pleasure to meet you, Mister...? That;s when he follows the hues of the other. "Oh, these?" His free hand points to the cat ears. "Haha~ They were a gift. If you want, we can get you a pair too? Should we get matching colors?"

Interrupted by a waddling, jolly Delibird that hands them both a gift - was Izzy the only one who wasn't like, insanely festive, or something?[break][break]

"Perfect for the job..." He grumbles to himself as he shoves the Delibird's gift in his backpack and frowns up at the stranger. He wanted him to... go with him to the winter fair? And... enjoy the day? Izzy squints just a little.[break][break]

"...That's it? What, just... go around and look at stuff with you?" Admittedly it didn't sound... completely awful. Izzy was intending to hang around the festival at some point anyway, and maybe being there with someone else wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Potentially embarrassing if they needed to buy food or trinkets, though, since Izzy wasn't exactly well off enough to be throwing money at cutesy little stalls or overpriced mulled wine. "Alright. Sure, we can... do that. No funny business or anything though, yeah?"[break][break]

The stranger introduces himself as Romeo, a name that nearly makes Izzy roll his eyes when paired with just how jolly and social this guy was. Of course he was called something like Romeo.[break][break]

"Not Mister anything, just Izzy, thanks"[break][break]

He hesitates but gives in to shaking Romeo's hand, perhaps worn down by the pure barrage of positive waves being launched at him by the taller man. He was only worn down so far, though, and the suggestion of matching cat ears nearly sent Izzy running for the hills. "Erm- no, no, I'm good. Not my kinda thing"[break][break]

Izzy shifts his weight a little awkwardly from one foot to the other - a little like a kid waiting for his parent to take him by the hand and lead the way. He wasn't exactly sure what kinda things people did together at festivals like this.[break][break]

"...So, uh... whattaya wanna... do first?"
